eBay has added a feature to its search engine that uses its Catalog to suggest "popular products" underneath search suggestions. When a shopper starts to type in the search box, eBay begins to make suggestions about what the consumer may be looking for - that's not new. But underneath the suggested search terms eBay now displays two "popular products" along with tiny thumbnail images of those products.
