E-mail marketing firm Silverpop hires a new head of marketing

E-mail marketing technology vendor Silverpop Systems Inc. has hired Eric Holmen as senior vice president of marketing.
He comes from The Marketing Arm, where he was senior vice president of the marketing agency’s wireless division. He also worked as president of mobile marketing company SmartReply, overseeing a revenue increase of 800% over seven years, Silverpop says.
