eBay Seller Settles Piracy Lawsuit for Five-Figure Sum

The Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA) settled a software piracy case against a German eBay seller who it accused of selling unauthorized Adobe products.
The SIIA filed a lawsuit against the eBay seller from Lower Saxony, accusing him of breaching German copyright and trademark law by purchasing authentic Adobe products and importing them to Germany without Adobe's consent, and selling them on eBay.
